Types of counselling: by phone and online

About me

I work with a very broad range of clients with a wide variety of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression, to OCD or PTSD and trauma. I have specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and apply this approach during my client sessions. My therapeutic approach is relaxed and informal with a focus on the ‘now’ and how we together can help you move forward more positively.

I believe that building a strong rapport with my clients is the key to effective counselling. I believe CBT is best when it is led by the client and suited to their own pace and towards their own specific goals.

CBT is solution-focused; helping to identify negative or unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and then provides the tools such as thought records and journals to identify the root of the problem and how we can best move on to a more positive path. It works on providing practical tools that allows the client to make positive changes to the way they are feeling.

I am extremely passionate about mental health and believe mental health services should be accessible and affordable with realistic waiting times. I provide a safe, empathetic and confidential environment for my clients. If this is what you are looking for please reach out today. I provide a free 20 minute phone consultation for any new clients.
